Minimates: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo
So it is come to this…the end of a long 10+ figure review journey from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Minimates case of 18. I have saved the best, one of my favorites for last. Leonardo. Who doesn’t love a leader. In the 2012 incarnation first voice by Jason Bigs which I loved, now voiced by Seth Green, who I really like, just for some reason, not as Leo, he’s just the freakin’ man! He’s also a good leave off point to build excitement for series 2 which features great characters like Bradford, the Suited up human fleshed Krang and so many more! (Pics coming!)
Leonardo
The Good:
- Confidence is perfectly captured in Leonardo’s glare.
- I don’t know if I have mentioned this in any of hte other reviews and I committed to hitting it in at least one. You get an awesome Sewer cover stand with each figure in the case!
- Perfect skin tone.
- Swords fit perfectly in hands and scabbards
- Paint is excellent and lines are clean throughout all figure details.
The Bad:
- The only bad part of this figure is he makes me think about Seth Green as the voice and how much I miss Jason Biggs. It’s not this poor figures fault though, he’s awesome!
The Rest:
- Well, now I just need to find me some Mutagen Michelangelo goodness and we can call it a wave. That one’s gonna be tricky though!!
