I know I am little late on the post this week, but that is what happens when you decide to go on a bounce castle at a block party.  They are a giant hot bed of germs I tell you.

This week offered some solid books, but nothing really stood out from the pack.  For that reason I have decided to choose “Captain America #15” as my “Comic of the Week.”  Again, this isn’t because this was a great book by any means, but more so to highlight Ed Brubaker’s run on Captain America in general.

In my mind Ed Brubaker is Captain America.  He has given us great stories with quality depth.  I feel like when I pick up a Cap comic I am back in the golden age of comics.  Most comics these days any decent reader can finish in just under five minutes.  Let’s be real, most books are  just a whole lot of pictures.  I’m okay with that. We are a visual society, but every now and again I like to read an old school comic.

It is for that reason and that reason alone “Captain America #15” is my Comic of the Week.  We love you Ed Brubaker and keep on doing what you are doing.
