Figure number 3 of the Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary Wave, Hulk! The big guy! And he is big, he is green, and he is mad! This wave has been fantastic so far, with Iron Man, Cap, today, Hulk, and Toad coming soon (hopefully!) Fans of this …Legendary toy line have been along for the ride for 20 years now, they have always been, and continue to be well served. This particular wave, so far, has been an outstanding celebration of the line, and of that very first wave. I love the premium feel, extra accessories, and fantastic stands with art. That love doesn’t change with Hulk, it only grows, and the litlgeeks love it too!

Celebrating 20 years of Marvel Legends, if you need a Hulk for your shelves, you really can’t do better!
He’s massive!
Love the angry face!
Features his classic all green with ripped purple pants
Just such exceptional weight!
Articulation is really fantastic for a figure of this size / volume
The Bad
Yeah, I got nothing
The Rest
We recently decided to revise a lot of what we had going with our Marvel Legends collection, and we found ourselves with a massive gap where the Hulk should have stood. Now, he’s here, and he’s perfect for what we wanted. Right size. Right kind of angry. Great accessories, excellent look. This is our Hulk, and we are so excited to add him to our collection. You should have no hesitation adding him to yours!

When the Marvel Legends 20th run of figures was announced, and pre-orders went live, we did our diligence, and ordered all three available (Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America). We had a look at Iron Man for you right here. We absolutely loved Iron Man. But the figure we were most excited for by a moon shot was Captain America. with nothing against Iron Man, Cap has just always been a more favorite, of mine at least. And as far as figure upgrades go, we’ve gotten so many fantastic Iron Man figures in the Legends line over the years, and certainly as of recent. But Cap has been a little more sparse, certainly when it comes to his ‘classic’ look. This figure remedies that in all the ways, and I can tell you flat out, he was worth the wait from pre-order to now, and gosh, worth the wait from 2002 to now. This 20th Anniversary Marvel Legends figure does an exceptional job of paying homage to the beginning of the line that it lives in, and as with each new figure, sets the standard, certainly for any Cap figure I want to see going forward. Cheers to Hasbro for continuing to grow and perfect this line started by Toy Biz those many 20 years ago! Let’s check out Cap!

The face sculpt is just bananas. A world better than our last / my old favorite Legends Cap (Retro). Eyes are spaced right, both the masked, and unmasked heads are what my brain thinks Steve Rogers really looks like!
The accessories included are pretty insane, given this is a premium cost, still pretty insane
2 extra pairs of hands
unmasked head
rolled down hood neck accessory
shield
energy effects
bullet effects
Stand
Reversible backdrop
Man, just look at the sculpt detail and shadowing on his glove cuffs
The colors are Captain America perfect!
I am so excited to finally have this figure! He’s like a stretched out version of one of my Marvel Universe 3.75″ favorites!
The Bad
Only one downside for me. No ‘standard’ shield included, when you take the effects off, you are left with a shield that has peg holes in it. for this Cap, we need a whole, color matching, perfect shield.
The Rest
Shield shortcomings aside, this is my favorite Cap figure. It tweaks all the right things from my previous favorite (Retro), and adds some much needed modern bells and whistles, from pulled off cowl neck ring, to unreal modern articulation, and a new face sculpt that nails it. This is my Cap now, and he should be yours too, go get him!

Baron Zemo, if I’m being honest, I knew he was coming, but he wasn’t on my radar during a period of pretty focused Legends collecting. But very recently that focus expanded to allow for Legends to be a feature collection in our house, in tandem with litlninja’s growing set of Marvel Legends. And well, Zemo, man, you don’t get much more classic as villains go. Unless…you are talking about Walgreens? Classic villain? Here’s a figure we want to sell you, good luck buying it? Well, at least, that’s what our special guests Khalil from @KastorsKorner and Jesse from @yfnjman talk about in the video below, with a surprise guest appearance by two more awesome Marvel Legends too! Check it out! And thanks to Jesse and Khalil for stopping by!

This is the good old days, absolutely comic perfect Baron Zemo
Design and execution completely nail the character
An alternate pair of hands and sword are included, they change out easy and fit well
The furry boot tops and shoulder pads! I am swoon! One of the most iconic outfits in all of comics and it’s dead on in plastic here
The fact, the way the cowl sits, it is everything I could want
Love the belt!
All the line work, that Zemo requires, is taken perfect care of here
The Bad
He’s a Walgreens exclusive, and that means you can’t have him
The Rest
The litlgeeks had such a great time with @KastorsKorner and @yfnjman. It was great to check out Zemo, to see him against the previous release Zemo, which has a more modern comics style lean, and it was awesome to see the Marvel Legends 20th Captain America that Gamestop just snaked away from us! We ordered Cap, they sent us Ben Reilly Spider-Man, we called and asked for Cap instead, what we ordered, and they said “sooreeeeeee”. So…more on our own review of Cap in the future. For now, Zemo, he’s awesome. You have 1000 reasons to want him, and far fewer ways to get him, and pretty much none of those ways will be fore retail because….

Not sure if you heard…but Hasbro this past week or so has officially announced that G.I. Joe is being relaunched as a 6 inch figure line. Some folks are pretty excited about this….we number among those folks. Now, not too much is known beyond the first four figures, Duke, Scarlet, Roadblock, and Snake Eyes, but…we did get an up close look at all of them, and you should check them out. They look great in fancy pro photos, but even better in real life!
